The booklet has twenty-eight songs describing different stages and actions of Ambedkar’s life. It was Ambedkar, who taught dalits the lesson of education, humanism and human rights. He overflowed with compassion , which is revealed in the chapters of Indian constitution. Equality was dearest to him and so he represented the personalities of Ashok, Nanak and Kabir. His conversion to Buddhism gave dalits a history, a religion , a pilgrimage centre , a sensation of free existence and off course the importance of struggle against injustice and insult. Self –respect, he taught, was possible only through protracted crusade against evil designs of social and religious leaders. So, immense is the contribution of Ambedkar to the dalits and humanity.
