The third part throws light on various Buddhist festivals- Vaisakhi Purnima; Aashari Purnima; Ashrivan Purnima and Maghi Purnima, linked with the life of Buddha. Besides these, there are three occasions- Vijaydashmi; Ambedkar Jayanti and Parinirvan. There are four Buddhist pilgrimages- Lumbini, Boddhgaya, Sarnath, and Kushinagar and numerous significant Budhists places like Shravasti, Rajgrah, Sachi, Nalanda, Ajanta-Ellora, Bhim Chaupati, Mumbai and Nagpur. The fourth part deals with a list of about 2700 names crafted from Buddhist literature with the objective of naming newly born children. Thus, the small book attempts to introduce popular notions about Buddhism in various forms to the common man.
