A comparative analyses has been made between two distinguished personalities- Ambedkar and Gandhi. Being born in a poor family and facing humiliation of untouchability throughout his life , Ambedkar got higher education and struggled for the rights of deprived. While Mahatma Gandhi took this occupation to fulfill the needs of his family. Even when he entered into politics he worked in favour of upper-castes and pretended his inclination towards betterment of Dalits and backwards. Dr. Ambedkar tried to unite dalits who had been fragmented by caste and sub-caste made by Manuvadins. If deprived would not be cautious of evil intentions of oppressors they would always remain slaves in this Manuvadi system. He strived for betterment of women and dalits and for an equalitarion society till the British period. Freedom of nation was achieved by Gandhi with pangs of partition. In our country , Brahmins started subjugation of masses and deprived them from fundamental rights . It was Ambedkar, who started crusade against this tyranny and Kashiram and Mayawati proceeded the mission further.
